 Home : Developing a Workplace Program : Six Steps To a Workplace Program

Organisations covered by the EOWW Act need to develop a workplace program and report annually on that program retrospectively.

The workplace program needs to follow the six steps outlined below, which addresses seven key areas known as the Employment Matters.

Step 1 Prepare a workplace profile.
Step 2 Your analysis of each of the seven employment matters needs to comprise the following:
i. Consultation - you need to consult with all employees at all levels of the organisation;
ii. Review HR Statistics and policies and practices.

Step 3

Prioritise your issues.
Step 4 Take action to address your priority issues.
Step 5 Evaluate the effectiveness of your actions.
Step 6 Identify future actions.
