| Developing a Workplace Program and Reporting |
This page provides you with links to all aspects of complying with the EOWW Act (1999) from developing an effective workplace program to reporting to EOWA on that program. To be compliant, organisations covered by the EOWW Act 1999 must: 1. Develop a workplace program
2. Report on their workplace program If you feel your organisation has successful or unique EO initiatives, has a great CEO or diversity leader, you may like to apply for an EOWA Business Achievement Award.
Information on Applying for a Waiver from Annual Compliance Reporting. Currently organisations that
have submitted an EOWA report for at least three consecutive years
and been assessed by EOWA as
compliant with the Equal Opportunity for Women in the Workplace Act 1999
for each year, may apply for a waiver from annual compliance reporting
for a defined period. However, please be aware that the proposed reforms
to EOWA may include the removal of current waiving provisions.
The bill reflecting these proposed reforms has not yet been
tabled in Parliament. This is expected to occur in the Autumn sittings
commencing in February 2012.
Submitting your report If email is not available, please post to: The Assessment Process On completion of the assessment, an email is sent to the Report Contact and a letter confirming compliance sent to the CEO. Organisations which don't comply |
