Home : Reporting and Compliance : What Happens if My Report Does Not Comply : List of Non Compliant Organisations

The Equal Opportunity for Women in the Workplace Act, 1999 requires EOWA to name non-compliant organisations in a list that is presented annually before Parliament.

Non-compliant organisations are those that do not comply with Sections 13A, 13B and 13C of the Act.

Non-compliant organisations are not eligible for Commonwealth contracts for the procurement of goods and services. The policy applies to the purchasing of goods and services by all Commonwealth departments and agencies, with or without a written contract.

Purchasing officers need to check if the intended supplier is non-compliant by checking the following list. If the intended supplier appears on the list below, another supplier is to be chosen.

“We cannot afford to train up good lawyers who build relationships with our clients – and see them walk out the door after a couple of years with no intention of returning. We have put in place initiatives to make our talent want to stay.”
