Quote
"The gains of result years indicate a greater awareness that women
will be the main source of future labour force growth. But changes to
public policy and workplace practice are required if we are to create more
secure and rewarding careers for women. Not the least we have to find new
ways for women to reconcile the dual demands of family and working life.
We need to help men in this as well."

Family Friendly
Agreement Clauses Database
Employers and employees can now access an exciting new web-based tool
on the Work and Family website - a database containing a range of family
friendly clauses from federally certified agreements.
This database can assist in the development and implementation of flexible
working arrangements. Users will be able to search for examples of
flexible working clauses drawn from organisations of different sizes and
types and operating in diverse business environments. Employers and HR
staff may find a family-friendly clause that they can then adapt to their
particular workplace.
The database is being developed by the Department of Employment and
Workplace Relations and will expand over time to meet the needs of
employers and employees.
