 New Employer of Choice for Women Criteria

In consultation with business, EOWA has recently reviewed the Employer of Choice for Women criteria to include six prerequisites designed to set a strong benchmark for leading organisations. Applications for 2008 close on 15th October.

For any organisation wanting to introduce paid maternity leave or review their conditions, EOWA has produced a new resource including benchmarking material, examples and business case material.

Fitted for Work

Fitted for Work (FFW) is  a charitable organisation based in Melbourne, set up to assist long term unemployed and disadvantaged women gain employment and financial independence. Women, corporations and clothing manufacturers donate new or slightly used corporate clothing to Fitted for Work which then provides a personalised dressing service to the client group and assists them with interview preparation.

   Employer Hotline - recruitment services

Need Staff? More people, particularly women, have been returning to the workforce from July this year as part of the government's welfare to work reforms. These people have a range of skills and experience and we encourage employers who need staff to look beyond their traditional recruiting sources.
