Diversity Summits bring together representatives of staff and managers at all levels and often diversity experts from outside the organisation to share knowledge and information on diversity issues and to raise the profile of special groups and their needs and issues in the workplace

Issues discussed may include those specific to staff members who:

  • Are women;
  • Are from a non-English speaking background;
  • Are Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders;
  • Have a disability;
  • Are homosexual;
  • Are transgender; and/or
  • Have carer's responsibilities.

While these summits cover a range of issues, there is wide consultation on issues affecting women.
