A workplace program must be developed by an organisation to comply with the Act. Organisations covered by the Act are required to:
An equal opportunity for women in the workplace program (a ‘workplace program’) is aimed at eliminating discrimination and contributing to equal opportunity for women in the workplace. It benefits all staff in the organisation, and improves your bottom line. You also need to demonstrate that you have 'intentionally' identified the issues for women and taken action to address them.
