The Australian workforce is amazingly diverse. More than 4 million women are now in paid employment, and bringing with them a huge range of skills, life experiences and cultural backgrounds. However, this diversity is not reflected in the ranks of our senior business and corporate leaders. While women and men often start out on the same career path, a gap soon opens up between them as their careers develop.
