EOWA Director, Helen Conway, delivered the 20th Annual Kingsley Laffer Memorial Lecture at the University of Sydney on March 19. The lecture charted Australia's progress to gender equality in the workplace as well as new reforms coming to the Agency.

Important Reporting Information for 2012

The Bill reflecting changes to EOWA's underlying legislation, as announced by the government in March 2011, was tabled in Parliament on 1 Mar 2012. The Bill now needs to be passed by both the House of Representatives and the Senate before becoming effective.

Reporting will be as usual for 2012 with reports due to be lodged by 31 May 2012.
